Atray's Story
I didn't set out to be an educator honestly. I set out to understand how the world works and really how it has been set up. Like most people, I was also just chasing money initially, but a quote from Steve Jobs changed my perspective:
"When you grow up you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world try not to bash into the walls too much, try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. But life. That's a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact. That is everything around you that you call life was made up by people no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."
That's when I realised that we are living in a world created by others, and we don't even acknowledge it. We think that it is how it is. And when we think this way, we lose our Agency. We lose our Power. We lose our Will.
I saw so many people around me leading lives that was a templatized life that was created for them by their parents, organisations or society in general. And they don't even recognize how much more could be possible because they are stuck in it.
I didn't want a life like that. I wanted to create an impact and change and value in the world. And that's why for the past 8 years, I've been creating and running businesses and communities that create lasting change in the world.
With Cosmic Essence, I wanted to bring my journey of 12 years of learning and practicing entrepreneurship to the students of today, because it's a mindset that will change their life forever. The resilience it brings in their life. The confidence it brings to handle any situation. The speed of learning that they develop through this mindset, is the biggest asset in a world where we don't know what's going to happen the next month, let alone 5 years from now.
But Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Skills have stood the test of time since humans came on earth, and it will remain the driving force of society forever. I wish things that I have brought together through Cosmic Essence, was brought to me by someone, when I began my journey. It would've drastically reduced my learning curve and saved me years of heartache.
